We thought it might be helpful to have some kind of user’s guide for those who are seeking justice and healing outside of the system. So we’re making one.
Like many of the alternatives listed here, this is a work in progress. We created it from the experiences of survivors in Minnesota who have had some contact with Minnesota Transformative Justice, along with community input from a survey we did in July 2022. We realize the results of the survey don’t reflect what all survivors think, though, so we are always open to hearing from more folks and revising as we go.
